Abdulmohsin Mohammad Al Shoaibi, Managing Partner

abdulmohsinForbesME-Abdulmohsin-miniAbdulmohsin Mohammad Al Shoaibi served as the Executive Manager of Solar Arabia Co. Limited (formerly known as BP Solar Arabia Co. Ltd), which specializes in every aspect of Photovoltaic (PV) solar modules, including assembly and development, design, engineering, system sizing, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of fully-integrated solar power systems. With more than 25 years of industry experience, his expertise ranges from administration, strategic planning, operations and project management to marketing and business development. In 2013, the Middle East Solar Awards honored him with its first-ever Lifetime Achievement Award. Mr. Shoaibi holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Toledo, USA. He is the Managing Partner in DarSolar (http://www.darsolar.com), a full-service solar development company based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Browning Rockwell, Business Development Partner

brockwellMr. Rockwell has worked in the MENA/GCC region for more than a quarter century. He is the Founder of the Saudi Arabia Solar Industry Association (SASIA) (http://www.saudi-sia.com) and publisher of the MENA Solar Brief,  a monthly email newsletter covering the GCC/MENA region. He was also a founder and past president of the Emirates Solar Industry Association (ESIA). His extensive experience with renewable energy includes market entry strategy, government liaison, proposal development, partnership identification, project management, and solar advisory services. He is the founder and Executive Director of the Solar GCC Alliance (http://www.solargcc.com) and a partner in DarSolar (http://www.darsolar.com or dar.solar), a full-service solar development company based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

From 2006–2011, Rockwell served as acting General Manager of SunEdison MENA LLC, subsidiary of MEMC, an S&P 500 company and global leader in solar project development. Since 2005 he has been involved in developing solar energy projects in the MENA/GCC region, interacting with senior leadership at Mubadala, Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (ADFEC), ADNEC, TAQA, ADWEA, DEWA, Dubai Holding, EZW, Qatar Foundation, Saudi Aramco, KAUST, SEC and K.A. Aaron Morrow, Director of Renewable Development

Mr. Morrow supports Dar Solar’s work for clients in their evaluation, development, and financing of renewable energy, energy efficiency, combined heat and power, distributed generation, and new technology investments. In his work as an expert consultant, Mr. Morrow helps clients develop and finance clean energy projects and commercialize new technologies. His areas of expertise include new technology market assessment; project development consulting for distributed and utility scale solar PV; distributed and community wind; and renewable energy financing. Prior to consulting, Mr. Morrow was Director of Sales for Harvest the Wind Network, Director of Renewable Energy Development for Pace Global, and International Business Development Manager for SunEdison. With more than fifteen years of product and project development, his experience includes ten years at UTC Power developing distributed fuel cell and CHP products and managing the project development and installation of CHP technologies.

Mr. Morrow holds a Master of Business Administration from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburg, Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Montana State University. Aaron@darsolar.com
